One of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, it turned a century in 2009. It is located at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak River and was designed by Arthur Benison Hubback. The mosque was built on the first Malay burial ground in the city. Before the national mosque, Masjid Negara, was opened in 1965, Masjid Jamek served as Kuala Lumpur's main mosque.

Petaling Street or Jalan Petaling in Malay, is a Chinatown located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is infamous for pirated clothes and accessories along with bootleg DVDs and CDs. Petaling Street however does not exclusively offer pirated products. Haggling is a common sight here and the place is usually crowded with locals as well as tourists. The area has dozens of restaurants and food stalls, serving local favourites.
ST JOHN's CATHEDRAL

St John's Cathedral is a whitewashed cathedral with twin spires, located to the north of Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. It is a Roman Catholic church and is aligned to the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur. It was originally opened in 1883, making it one of KL's oldest buildings. January 8th is the anniversary of its dedication. Due to its location ascending Bukit Nanas, it is also in close contact to Convent Bukit Nanas, Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve and Kuala Lumpur Tower. It is accessible from the Masjid Jamek LRT station and the Bukit Nanas Monorail station.
BUKIT NANAS FOREST RESERVE

Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve is known to be one of the oldest permanent forest reserves in Malaysia. Earlier known as Bucket Weld Forest Reserve, Bukit Nanas was declared as a forest reserve in 1906. In 1934, it got the recognition of being a Wildlife Reserve and Bird Sanctuary. Later, in 1950, its unspoiled section of about five hectares was declared as a Virgin Jungle Reserve. The Reserve, sprawled in 10.5 hectares, is a remarkable tropical rainforest near KL Tower in Kuala Lumpur.
